B.A.N. Supporters Demand Equal Justice Under the Law

When US citizens get pulled over for something like speeding, we expect a police officer to hand us a ticket for a few hundred dollars; we do not expect the officer to hand us a cup of coffee and pump our tires because—as much as we hate it—when we break the law, there are penalties we must face. Unfortunately, when illegal aliens compromise our borders, threaten the sanctity of our country, and knowingly break our laws, Barack Obama and the rest of the open-borders, pro-Amnesty crowd are essentially willing to hand them a welcome-to-the-US cup of coffee, along with a mini-American flag to wave all the while looking the other way to the crimes they are committing on top of the crime they committed coming here.According to Crime and Justice News, the Department of Homeland INsecurity is reviewing a number of cases against illegal aliens and are “moving to dismiss those filed against suspected illegal immigrants who have no serious criminal records.” Please join B.A.N and help put a stop to our government’s willingness to offer amnesty to the criminals who come here illegally.
Already in Houston, Texas, attorneys “have come to court anticipating clients’ deportations only to learn that the government was dismissing their cases.” Distinguishing between “illegal immigrants with no serious criminal records” and those with a serious criminal record is ridiculous and clearly indicates that the government does not recognize the fact that those who enter the US illegally already have committed a serious crime. Besides, when you get pulled over for speeding—regardless of whether or not you have held up a bank or committed another “serious” crime—you are going to suffer a penalty, why should illegal aliens be held to a more lenient standard?

When federal agents raided a chain of Chuy’s Restaurants across Arizona and California, more than 40 illegal aliens were arrested, along with several of the chain’s top executives were arrested, including the father-and-son owners and their accountant. Yes, LA RAZA & CO will scream and moan, but the illegal aliens apprehended here, aren't the victims. Neither are the business owners accused of breaking the law. The real victims are the legal employees whose jobs will be lost because their employer refused to obey the law.

The Department of Homeland Security is designed to keep our borders strong, our country safe, and to enforce our immigration laws. Under Obama and Janet Napolitano, however, the DHS is not guided by any of these key values, but rather, by their own self-serving agenda... regardless of how unfair that agenda is to U.S. citizens. Recently, Napolitano actually went so far as to claim that Congress must pass the DREAM Act because the DREAM Act will make our borders stronger and will allow DHS to "do its job of enforcing the nation's immigration law."

In addition to suing the state of Arizona, Obama's Justice Department has given over $60 million to Sanctuary Cities across the United States. In this year alone, Obama’s Justice Department has funneled approximately $62.2 million into cities, counties, and states that offer sanctuary to illegal aliens.
